After a year h i a t u s , Afro-Caribbean award winning artiste, Karina Theresa Martinez, popularly known as Miss-K, made a public appearance at the premiere of Basira in London amid loud ovation. The former MTN Ambassador graced the red carpet in a strapless, colourful bling from Arabian jeweler and pumps from Kurt Geirger’s latest collection.
She had shunned public event since the “Ortega and It’s Enemies” premiere in November 2014 where she wowed the attendees with another elegant fashion statement. She came to Nigeria where she embarked on an upcoming project for few months. She returned to the UK after the Presidential election.
Speaking at the premiere, Miss- K expressed delight to be a guest of such fantastic event, and supporting a dear friend, Theodora Ibekwe, one of the executive producers of the movie. “I’ve attended many red carpet events before, but being here tonight feels like attending a big award ceremony. You know lots of dedication and hard work has gone into it,” she stated.
