Non-Academic Job Vacancies at Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe


Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe is an Oil and Gas Institution created by the Federal Government during the Late President Musa Yar'adua regime.

The School (Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe) hereby invites application from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Position: Bursar
Duties
  • The Bursar shall be in charge of the day-to-day operation of the financial system of the Polytechnic and shall report to the Rector.
Qualification and Experience
  • The right candidate should possess a good Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Accountancy or Finance from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least 15 years cognate experience.
Professional Qualification
  • The Bursar must be a Member of a recognized professional accounting body (ICAN) or its equivalent.
Remuneration

Position: Librarian​
Duties
  • The Librarian shall be responsible for the smooth running of the Polytechnic's Library system and shall report to the Rector.
Qualification and Experience
  • The right candidate should possess a good Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Library Science from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least 15 years cognate experience.
  • The right candidate must also possess academic publication equivalent to that of a Chief Lecturer.
Professional Qualification
  • The Librarian must be a registered member of an appropriate professional body.
