A nurse was arrested, charged and convicted of rape after raping unconscious women at a hospital, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.
The hospital nurse admitted that he had been watching women and girls as young as 10, who were hospitalized.
He also admitted to taking pictures and videos.
He admitted that he had raped women in the hospital in Oxford where he worked, and sexually assaulted others in a medical tent at a music festival.
He also took up-skirt pictures on London trains. 29-year-old Andrew Hutchinson was sentenced to 18 years in prison for his crimes.
He was convicted of 27 counts of rape, sexual assault and voyeurism. Hutchinson has betrayed the patients entrusted in his care, the court was told.
He totally failed in his responsibilities as a nurse by committing criminal acts against vulnerable patients.
Hutchinson was convicted of raping two women who were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital at different times for drinking too much alcohol.
During an investigation, police searched his home and found images of various crimes on his computer, camera and cellphone.
Thames Valley Police identified 11 victims on the videos. Many victims of the crimes were not aware of what had happened because they were unconscious at the time.
Other offenses include theft of medical equipment and theft and possession of the drug ketamine, which is sometimes used as a date rape drug.
