Citizens of certain states in Nigeria have reported sighting platoons of soldiers in their neighborhood.
Photos posted here are courtesy Linda Ikeji's blog and were taken in Victoria Island, Lekki and Fola Agoro in Surulere. Some internet users report similar 'shipments' of soldiers in Akure.
Speculation is that the soldiers have been deployed for Saturday's election. This would be in spite of the court's ruling against the use of soldiers at the polls.
