Explosion Causes Building Collapse in Ikoyi Lagos
At least four persons have been injured while many others are being trapped as a building within Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi collapsed Saturday morning.The building according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is located at HFB way Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi.
NEMA spokesman, Ibrahim Farinloye said the incident occurred following an explosion from the building.
He said the explosion may have been caused by gas, adding that three persons were inside the building when the explosion occurred.
Farinloye said the trio and a another person outside the building have been evacuated to St Maria Hospital Yaba.
Men of the Police disaster management are presently guarding the scene.
