Buhari Wins Adamawa State
All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari has emerged victorious in the presidential polls in Adamawa.
He defeated his major rival President Goodluck Jonathan.
Buhari polled a total of 374,701, while Jonathan scored 251,664.
Buhari also won in 14 local government areas of the state, while Jonathan won in seven local government areas.
Announcing the results the returning officer, Professor Okogbaa Geofrey announced Buhari as the winner in the state having scored the highest total number of votes in the presidential contest.
