Official: Crystal Palace sign Cabaye



The France international midfielder reunites with former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew as the Eagles pay just over £10 million to bring him back to the Premier League

Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of France international midfielder Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year deal.

Goal understands that the Eagles have paid a fee in excess of £10 million to reunite boss Alan Pardew which the man whom he managed for a spell at Newcastle.

The midfielder spent three years under Pardew at St James's Park, during which time he became one of the highest-rated midfielders in the Premier League.

His form persuaded PSG to part with nearly £20m to sign him in early 2014 but, 18 months on, they have taken a sizeable hit on their investment.
