Eminent businessman and former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday lauded Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State for appointing Alhaji Tukur Ahmed as Special Assistant on Media and Publicity.
Kalu in a letter of congratulation delivered to the Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity, a copy of which was obtained by our correspondent, expressed happiness over Tukur’s appointment.
The letter reads in part: “It gives me the great pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your appointment as Chief Press Secretary to Governor Tanko Al-Makura. “Over the years, you have distinguished yourself in the media profession by upholding the ethos of journalism.
I strongly believe in your capacity as a veteran journalist to perform excellently well in this new role.”
