MAN TREKKING FROM YOLA TO ABUJA FOR BUHARI, GETS ROYAL WELCOME FROM EMIR OF BAUCHI
The man who started trekking from Yola, Adamawa, on April 26, to celebrate Buhari’s victory arrived Bauchi on Saturday, on his way to Abuja.
He was received at the palace of the Emir of Bauchi and also by APC Bauchi chapter, where he was given an APC T-shirt.
43 year old Malam Abubakar Umar, told newsmen in Bauchi that he was carrying more than 300 letters of requests from people of the North East sub-region, to Buhari.
According to him, most of the letters contained requests urging the president-elect to address the problem of insecurity and re-build the sub-region.
