DAVID BECKHAM JOINS INSTAGRAM TO CELEBRATE 40TH BIRTHDAY, GETS OVER 2MN FOLLOWERS IN HRS [PICS]
Football legend, David Beckham has celebrated his 40th birthday by beginning to post on Instagram.
The football star joined the social media site in style by posting a picture of himself lying in bed, and attracted over 2 million followers in a matter of hours.
A caption read: “Good morning and hello! It’s great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can’t wait to start sharing all my special moments with you.
“Thank you for all your birthday messages so far. Looking forward to a great day with friends and family.”
The former England captain is celebrating his 40th birthday in Morocco, and several stars are expected to attend a lavish bash in Marrakech on Saturday night.
Other photographs show Becks enjoying a selfie with his teenage son, Brooklyn.
