All the week’s story seemed to have broken at the MTV Video Music Awards a.k.a. VMA. There’s no doubt about it — Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are just the cutest. Though Calvin couldn’t be there in person to support his lady at the VMAs, he sent her the most romantic gift to congratulate her on all the big wins.Can romance get any better? If you need any further proof that Taylor Swift, 25, and Calvin Harris, 31, are the most awesome lovers, this is it. Unfortunately, Calvin couldn’t be there to witness Taylor stealing the show at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t thinking about his lady.
In fact, he surprised her at the end of the night in the most romantic way possible! Here’s what went down. “Taylor’s biggest surprise of the night, other than listening to Kanye [West]’s presidential desires, came after the show.
When she got back to her dressing room, she was surprised with 4 dozen red and pink roses that Calvin had sent over. He’s overseas, but arranged the whole surprise before he left. Each bouquet represented a Moon Man win”, a source spilled. We can just imagine the excitement that Taylor felt! Not only was it the big premiere of her retro-glam “Wildest Dreams” music video, but she also took home Moon Men for “Video of the Year” and “Best Female Video,” just to name a couple of big awards when she carted away.
It was a huge night for Taylor, and though she was surrounded by her squad of friends, including Selena Gomez and Cara Delevingne, it sure seemed like Calvin put the icing on top of the cake with his sweet surprise. Taylor and Calvin have been almost too cute to handle lately. The “How Deep Is Your Love” star recently attended Tay’s concert on August 24, and she mouthed “I love you” to him in the audience.
