Nicki Minaj, Miley’s Onstage Feud Breaks The Internet

Viewers were shocked when Nicki Minaj totally called out Miley Cyrus after her acceptance speech at the VMAs. Some people thought the whole thing was staged, but a new report says it was totally real — in fact, the fight even affected the event security so a catfight wouldn’t ensue. After Nicki Minaj, 32, accepted her Best Hip Hop Video award at the MTV Video Music Awards, she totally called out Miley Cyrus, 22, for her comments about Nicki in a recent New York Times interview and in a shocking fashion. The show carried on after the intense moment, but behind the scenes, tensions were extremely high and even had staff nervous about a potential brawl- which isn’t out of place anyway. For your information, Nicki threw some major shade at Miley when handing things back to her, saying, “Back to this b—- who had a lot to say about me the other day in the press.

Miley what’s good?” Nicki’s major ‘diss’ toward Miley was so harsh, it was easy to think that maybe the whole thing was all for show. But sources insist the discordant tune was real, “Nicki was livid with Miley and decided to air her feelings onstage,” an insider confirmed.

“The anger was very real and not a pre-planned bit at all.” Because the unexpected onstage fight was totally legit, it got Nicki and Miley completely riled up. It may have only lasted about 30 seconds on stage, but as soon both ladies went backstage, they were fuming especially Miley, who apparently couldn’t stop cursing and yelling about it.

Despite the rest of the show continuing with incredible performances and exciting wins, MTV staffers were apparently stressed about the tensions flaring between Nicki and Miley.

The source added that staff “had to be sure Nicki and Miley didn’t cross paths for the rest of the evening because they were legitimately worried about a confrontation happening.” Miley and Nicki’s onstage feud made things insanely intense. With that much concern of a potential backstage brawl, there was no way that fight was fake.
