Ogun warns drivers against reckless parking

The Head of Service, Mrs Modupe Adekunle, gave the warning at the inauguration of operational vehicles and gadgets of the Ogun State Government Parking Management Scheme held at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
She said anybody found wanting in that regard would be made to face appropriate sanction. Mr Wale Yusuf (an engineer) is the consultant and chief executive officer of the scheme, which was established by Governor Ibikunle Amosun three years ago. Speaking on the occasion, the Head of Service noted that the parking scheme was in tandem with the governor’s mission to rebuild agenda and aimed at bringing sanity and orderliness into roads across the three senatorial districts of the state.
She said: “This scheme has shown to the people of Ogun State that it is not all about collecting parking fee that is your ultimate goal, but how we can efficiently put to effective use the new roads being constructed all around the nooks and crannies of Ogun State and bring them up to international standard.”
