Two goals from the impressive Romelu Lukaku secured Everton their first victory at St Mary’s in over a decade against a lacklustre Southampton.
The Belgian’s brace came from his first two shots on target, the first a wonderful header into the top corner.
Everton ruthlessly counter-attacked and doubled their lead as Lukaku combined with Ross Barkley and struck into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Barkley added a third, another fine strike curled into the top corner, reports the BBC.
