President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in meeting with the Service Chiefs and the Inspector General in Abuja in what is perceived as a prelude to their eventual disengagement.
The service chiefs were appointed by the immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan who handed over power to Buhari last Friday.
The Service Chiefs who arrived at the Defence House and immediately went into the meeting with the President.
The National Security Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd) had arrived the Defence House few minutes before the Service Chief arrived.
The Chief of Army Staff, the Chief of Naval Staff, the Chief of Air Staff as well as the Inspector General of Police were led into the meeting by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh.
