Russian Billionaire, Roman Abramovich mega-yacht ‘Eclipse’ was recently taken into a German port for renovations according to reports with some pretty impressive upgrades that makes it looks like the headquarters of a James Bond Villain.
Here are some of impressive facts about the oil tycoon’s prized possession!

Sheer Size and Cost
The Eclipse is 536 ft long (that’s over 1.5 football pitches), 72.2ft wide and has a gross tonnage of 13,500GT! The leviathan has four diesel engines which cost $110,000 to completely fill with petrol. It has an estimated value of $1.5 billion and cost $300 million to build in the first place!
Two Helicopter Pads
When you have to travel a lot it’s helpful to be able to reach your yacht no matter where it is!

Two swimming pools and a disco hall
With features like these you could probably enjoy something of a never-ending holiday on-board the Eclipse.

Cinema
When you’re enjoying a stay on the Eclipse the idea of going out to the cinema is a lot easier to realise than when you’re stuck at home. Just pick up some popcorn from the galley and head to the on-board cinema facility where they presumably show the 2012 Champions League Final on repeat.
Children’s playroom

Beauty salon

This room was perhaps built for all of the oil tycoon’s female companions.
Conference room

When you’re a multi-millionaire conference calling is something that you need to do almost on a daily basis. So Abramovich has several conference rooms installed on-board his yacht so that he can conduct business from his luxury boat.

Missile defence system
Of course when you have such impressive facilities on-board your yacht you need to make sure that none of your enemies get to enjoy them… Apparently, Eclipse has a German-made missile defence system to keep its owner safe and sound
