PHOTOS FROM PROTEST AT UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN OVER DEATH OF STUDENT
Alaran Muslihudeen Mayowa a 200 level student of the department of KHE; Human Kinetics, Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan, slumped and later died, yesterday night while watching a football match.
Mayowa, according to reports, suffered from an asthmatic attack, and due to the negligence of duty of the school clinic staff, he died.
Students of the University of Ibadan have blocked the Mokola-Ojoo Road in the Oyo State capital, protesting the death of their fellow student… blaming the clinic staff and asking the school to take immediate action..
All lectures have been cancelled as shop owners in Agbowo market, situated outside the school have stayed off the area.
