Position: VAS Planning Engineer
Job description    
• Coordinating the efforts, inputs and outputs from many internal company departments, to ensure that the design and plan are carried out appropriately.
• Interface with Marketing, business development groups for new services and product development planning
• Coordination of VAS and Digital Product planning, development, implementation and optimization
• The role requires basic knowledge of  the intelligent network and core network platforms
• Primary interface with vendors on technical  design issues
• Project management and tracking to ensure that products are launched within specified timelines
• Define the optimal network topology for the VAS platforms (e.g. SMSC, VMS, RBT, EIR, USSD, etc) for deployment of Value Added service to give MTNN competitive advantage
• Execute prompt provisioning of network capacity for all the VAS network elements, features, protocols
• Responsible for designing and dimensioning of the VAS network as well as new products and services to support the marketing product
• Plan and design the implementation of future Prepaid products
• Plan and design the network architecture to optimally serve the growth of the VAS network in terms of traffic, subscribers and value added service capacity
• Conduct analysis of network model outputs and traffic patterns to evaluate model and proffer solution if necessary within the VAS environment
• Design and plan the evolution of Value Added Services, such as, but not limited to, messaging (Voicemail & SMS), value propositions, other Third Party applications and services
• Drive high level discussions on the role of digital within the total ecosystem.
• Serve as a resource for creative teams in the development of insight driven digital strategies from opportunity identification through to experience definition.
• Support digital "evangelization" initiatives within the organisation
• Develop frameworks and methodologies for approaching digital assignments within the organisation.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies for new products and services and produce feasibility report
• Produce Functional and Technical Specification documents for new products and services
• Participate in cross functional meetings with key stakeholders involved in the development and deployment of new Value Added Services in order to define best solutions for new products and services
• Meet with vendors on new market releases and technology upgrade path to ensure quick deployment of new and innovative products/services

Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years working experience in cellular industry comprising of:
• Experience with GSM, EDGE,WCDMA, HSDPA, HSPA, LTE Networks, Offload Technologies etc
• Technical experience in planning, design and working with GGSN, SGSN, W@P Gw, PCRF, Evolved Packet Core MMSC and other DATA platforms
• Familiar with telecommunication technology architecture
• Familiar with SOAP, VPN, SMSC, MMSC, SMPP, Short codes.
• Experience in products and services development and a good understanding of Mobile data services & roadmaps
• Knowledge of signaling systems C7, CIP/IP, MAP, SMPP, WAP, XML, HTTP(s), Diameter, GTP, etc.
• Experience with Statistics models and trending using Analytic/Modeling tools
• Basic knowledge of  Online & Offline Charging Networks and VAS Platforms

Position: Sales Support Officer​
Job description    
1. Receive and process orders for MTN products from MTN trade partners and connect stores nationwide;
i.  Receive orders from trade partners promptly and courteously via phone, e-mail, web based application fax etc.
ii.  Process order requests on IFS in accordance with stock availability and PPPs.
iii.  Administer product allocation/products mix/ departmental and regional business plan.
iv.  Monitor all MTN Trade Partners /Connect Store and Data Partners’ physical, logical and virtual orders and special projects.
v.  Report and reconcile all transactions passing through the planning system.
vi.  Provide solution to all Trade Partners issues via e mail and telephone to enhance customer support /performance.
vii.  Maintain all Trade Partners account and ensure they reflect the true position of their relationship with the organization.
viii. Coordinate and advice Regional and Central Warehouse Inventory as it affects order processing for trade partners.
ix. Process replacement orders for returned products as well as Ensuring timely resolution of Adjustment entries for Month end reporting purposes.
x. Liaise with Credit team on utilization of account balance available to credit Trade Partners

2. Process Blacklisting request from Trade Partners ;
i. Blacklist all Recharge cards reported stolen by the Trade Partners on PPMS (Prepaid Management System) self help solution and prepare compensation.
ii. Generate reports on compensation due to Blacklisted cards for Trade Partners/Connect Store and Data Partners and communicate to enhance speedy use of lost funds.

3. Provide first line resolution of queries and enquiries from trade partners and connect stores, data partners nationwide;
i. Receive and resolve enquiries from trade partners /connect store and data partners promptly and escalate where necessary.
ii. Liaise with various Departments  such as IS, Inventory, Consumer Sales, Customer  Relations, Enterprise Solutions, Marketing to promote and resolve ordering issues for  trade partners /connect store and data partners   and special projects.
iii. Provide back office support for Regional and Consumer sales in trade partner account management.
iv. Provide solution to enquiries referred from trade partners /connect store and data partners through Regional Sales managers/DAEs and Customer relations.
v. Support and operationalize strategy adopted for achieving departmental targets.
vi. Establish and maintain Cordial Business relationship with  trade partners /connect store and data partners and special projects to achieve departmental targets.
vii. Generate reports to the business in the area of operations to enable quick decision making.
viii.  Liaise With Trade Partners Account  Managers on processes required in setting up a Trade Partner as partner with MTN.
ix. Communicate Daily the Partially Delivered orders Reports to alert Inventory locations of pending orders.

4. Process account reconciliation for Trade Partners /Connect Store for excess funds available for use.

5. Process  termination of defaulting Trade Partners /Connect Store and Data Partners;
i. Prepare termination journal on receipt of motivation of termination due to violation of trade process.
ii. Ensure that Balance on SOA/CLA is paid promptly to trade partners /connect store and data partners.

Experience & Training   

Experience:
4 years working experience in a business \commercial environment including:
