The duo played a key role in the comprehensive victory over Tim Sherwood's side, as the Gunners recorded a second successive FA Cup triumph at Wembley
Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla says the Gunners are lucky to have Alexis Sanchez in their ranks after the Chilean scored a stunning goal to help his side to a 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup final.
The attacker sparkled at Wembley, helping set up Theo Walcott for the opener before grabbing a superb goal with a fierce strike from range that flew in off the underside of the bar, giving Shay Given no chance.
Sanchez finishes the season as Arsenal's top scorer with 25 goals after an impressive debut campaign and Cazorla paid tribute to him after the Gunners won the tournament for a record twelfth time.
"Alexis is an amazing player," he told BBC Sport. "We're lucky he plays for us and I'm very happy for him."
The Spaniard also feels that Arsenal can challenge for the title next season, if they produce the same form as they have shown in the second half of the campaign.
"We are very happy," he added. "We played well. We are very focused. We played with intensity. This is the most important thing for us," he added.
"If we play like that, we have a chance to get the title next year. The most important thing is to rest well, prepare for the next season and I'm sure next year we'll be better."
