28th coronation: Olu of Warri, selfless leader, says Uduaghan

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has congratulated the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwase II, on his 28th coronation anniversary.
Uduaghan, represented by his deputy, Prof. Amos Utuama at Special Thanksgiving Service held on Sunday in Warri to mark the anniversary, described the Itsekiri monarch as a “selfless leader.”
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the thanksgiving service, held at the Olu Palace in Warri, climaxed activities to commemorate the coronation anniversary.
The governor, who said the Olu of Warri was a monarch held in high esteem, prayed God to guide and give him the wisdom to continue to rule over the affairs of his people.
“May God continue to be with our monarch and also give him the grace to celebrate more years,” he said.
The General Overseer of Four Square Gospel Church in Nigeria, Mr Felix Meduoye, also congratulated the Olu for his services to humanity.
Meduoye, who was represented by the Church’s secretary, Mr Ikechukwu Oguaja, said the Iwere nation had improved tremendously under the reign of Ogiame.
“I commend the Olu of Warri for his selfless service to the people and his commitment to the principles of God,” Meduoye said.
