David Luiz's mum encourages son after poor performance against Barcelona

David Luiz's mother has come out to defend her son following his disastrous performance for Paris Saint-Germainagainst Barcelona in the champions league quarter finals first leg.
The former Chelsea defender came in as a substitute for a fellow Brazilian, Thiago Silva, who got injured during the game that ended 3-1 in favour of the Catalans on Wednesday.

His mum, regardless of other people's opinions said on social media that she is proud of her son, even after Luis Suarez nutmegged Luiz for each of the his goals.

"We are proud of you, David Luiz," she wrote on Instagram.

"I'll always have you as a son, keep your head up. God knows everything! Jesus fights for us, who are we to judge!

"I will always love you, in good games and much more when things are not going so well." Goal
