#NIGERIADECIDES: Nigeria Chooses Leader (Day 2)


Nigeria enters day 2 of the presidential and National Assembly elections. The extension came as a result of technical problems associated with the use of card readers.
The Independent National Electoral Commission announced on March 28, yesterday, that voting would continue on Sunday at 300 out of 150,000 polling stations.

Meanwhile the counting is already ongoing and preliminary results from some units were obtained this night.

As it was expected, the competition is observed between Goodluck Jonathan, the Peoples Democratic Party, and Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress.

6: 10 President Goodluck Jonathan has lost to Muhammadu Buhari in both polling units located in Aso Villa (The Nation). Buhari polled a total of 613 votes, while Jonathan received a total of 595 votes.
