The D-day is upon us as millions of Nigerians turn out en masse today, March 28, to cast their votes with the Presidential and National Assembly elections taking centre stage.
However, what can be regarded as a good start to the election is ongoing as reports just reaching us indicate that accreditation has commenced in some polling units across the country.
It would be recalled that The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stated that the accreditation process will kick-start at 8am prompt. As such INEC is bent on keeping to its promise to Nigerians as the accreditation as indeed commenced in some areas across the country.
Some #CitizenNigerians who were given to permission to cover the elections by INEC took to their twitter handles to report the ongoing accreditation process in their polling units.
The APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari was also reported to have arrived his polling unit at 8:38am in Daura Accredited: 8:44am for his accreditation. He is in company of his wife.
