Having been identified as the new kid on the block with so much money in his kitty, his next choice of place was the social scene which he dominated like a colossus with a few of his friends who had made mega bucks at the same time with him.
Rotimi, who is better known as Don Dino, became the toast of musicians who got their boxes stocked each time he was in their party. The dude, who has business interests in hospitality, oil and gas among others, shifted his focus to the political arena where he had signified interest to go to the House of Representatives but failed at both attempts.
His last attempt during the last elections raised speculation that he had gone broke as little or nothing was heard of him, especially on the social scene. Those who are close to him have not ceased to tell whoever cares to listen that Rotimi’s financial power has not dwindled. Rotimi, however, made a statement which has brought about diverse opinions about him when he celebrated his 40th birthday.
Although the birthday did not conform to the standard with which he’s known, especially on his milestone birthday, but his ability to pull two incumbent governors to the gig has put him on the lips of many. Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, and his Ekiti State counterpart, Ayo Fayose, were among guests at his Lekki, Lagos home to felicitate with him.
