President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Aliyu Yahaya Gusau as the new director-general of the Budget Office of the Federation. According to a statement by Marshall Gundu, director of press and public relations at the federal ministry of finance, the appointment takes effect from Tuesday, August 18, 2015 with a term of four years renewable for another four years.
Before his appointment, he was the director, fiscal policy, budget monitoring and evaluation. He was also acting director- general, Budget Office at the exit of the former DG, Bright Okogu. Okogu,
