The defending champion, Novak Djokovic, defeated Richard Gasquet 7-6 (2), 6-4, 6-4 Friday on Centre Court to make his way into the championship match at the All England Club for the third straight year. Djokovic handled Gasquet’s fantastic backhand well enough to keep the 21st-seeded Frenchman from pulling off another upset. Gasquest eliminated fourth-seeded Stan Wawrinka in the previous round. In Sunday’s final, Djokovic will face either Roger Federer or Andy Murray.
