Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday restated his commitment to the completion of the ongoing Lagos Light Rail project, saying that the completion of the multi-billion naira project is a must for his administration.
The governor emphasised the need to urgently mobilise the contractor to achieve the completion of the project to ease transportation of the residents in the state, saying that everything would be done to ensure speedy completion of the project.
Speaking after inspecting the Mile 2 Terminal of the project, Governor Ambode, said he would like to see greater work done on the project after his inspection on the project, assuring that he would immediately mobilise the contractor to ensure speedy execution of the project from the Mile 2 and the National Theatre axis to the Marina end within the next 12 months.
