Ebonyi varsity introduces new courses

Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki has introduced new set of courses into the university’s curriculum.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Francis Idike, revealed this yesterday while addressing Governor Dave Umahi, during a meeting the governor held with the staff and students of the institution.
He listed the new courses as Pharmacy, Engineering and Environmental Studies, adding that the Senate of the university and the last administration in the state had approved the course.
He noted that the institution had reduced eleven faculties in the school to eight in line with the recommendations of the panel set up by the last administration to review programmes of the university.
Prof. Idike explained that the university was now a single campus university following the recommendations of the panel, stating that movement into the permanent site, which will commence soon, will be in two phases.
