LAGOS STATE STILL PLANNING ON RELOCATING COMPUTER VILLAGE AND MILE 12 MARKET



The Lagos State Government has said there is no going back on the state’s planned relocation of Computer Village and the popular Mile 12 market.

According to the State’s commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Toyin Ayinde, it was necessary in other to decongest traffic on the roads leading to these overcrowded places.

While speaking at a ministerial press conference in Alausa, Ikeja, Mr Ayinde said the Mile 12 Market along with Ajelogo and Akinmode markets would certainly be relocated to Parafa in Ikorodu to decongest traffic on the expressway.

He also mentioned that Computer Village will be relocated to Katangowa in Agbado Oke-Odo, Lagos adding that the conceptual plan of the Internet City and business park had been adopted.
