The England international has not made an appearance since November but stepped up his rehabilitation alongside Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby for the Gunners’ reserves
Jack Wilshere is set to return to action on Tuesday after being named in Arsenal’s Under-21 side to face Stoke City.
The midfielder has not made a first-team appearance since November after he suffered an ankle injury which required further surgery in February.
And after returning to training, the Gunners star will further his rehabilitation against the Potters reserve side.
He will be joined in midfield by Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby as they also continue their recoveries following prolonged spells on the sidlines while Serge Gnabry has been named in the starting XI.
