Iheanacho must prove he's ready for Super Eagles call-up- Dosu Joseph

Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph has said that the FIFA U-20 world cup would be the best way to prove his worth to earn a place in the Super Eagles team.

Dosu, who won gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games in USA said he believes the Manu Garba-led side are capable of winning the championship if they play together.

He said: "I think those boys have done well for themselves coming through the ranks, they have the chance of winning the championship if they can come together as a team.

"Iheanacho’s impact could be important, he’s done well on those rare occassions where he played for Man City and this is his opportunity to prove the calls for his promotion to the Super Eagles is justifiable.”

"For me the team is in the right hands with Manu [Garba] and Ugbade as handlers , I think they’ll do well,”the Olympic Gold medal-winner told www.footballlive.ng
