AC Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy has left the club’s training complex bound for Monaco as he closes in on a move to the Ligue 1 side, according to Sky Italia.
The 22-year-old Italian is expected to arrive in Monte Carlo on Sunday ahead of planned medical on Monday.
Milan are thought to want around €17million for El Shaarawy and, according to reports in Italy, Monaco will initially take him on loan at a cost of €2million with an option to buy worth €15million.
However, that option would become mandatory the moment he makes his 15th appearance for the club.
