America’s K & G Records hunt for talents in Nigeria


1111kane & Goddesse owners of United States of America based K & G Records are set to storm Nigeria in search of budding musical talents. Thereafter, the two talents that will eventually be discovered will be taken to join their label in America. Entries will be received via YouTube and kgmusic@gmail.com. The twosome talent hunters, Uncle Kane a rap artiste with Playerz Mob group, and Goddesse Ford, who was in Nigeria with Big Bolaji at the famous 10,000 audience show at Ibadan in 2013, are respected musicians in Mississippi where they are based. In an exclusive online interview with New Telegraph, Goddesse Ford, said, “We look forward to seeing the awesome talent of Nigeria. What we are looking for in Nigeria are two artists to sign to our label in Mississippi. We want to collaborate with the sound of Nigeria and expose the musical genius to the world. For those who will eventually drop off from the talent hunt, Ford from her personal experience said: “Believe in yourself. Just because a record label doesn’t sign you do not mean that you or your gift is invalid. Believe that you carry something for the whole world and it’s their loss if they don’t get to hear it.” Goddesse Ford, said her experience in music began as a kid. Her words, “I grew up watching my older siblings make music and do shows but never felt that I had a voice, so I hid my voice until I ‘had a divine call from the Lord that told me He wanted her to make music’. With that I joined my first group called Napturals.”
She said the group broke up two years after inception and she went solo and released her first album in 2007, but it was a flop.
