Incoming Governor accuse Outgoing Governor of Last Minute Looting
In Plateau state, it seems the change of power will hold alot of controversy, as the incoming Governor is already accusing the outgoing governor of last minute looting.Simon Lalong of the APC has accused the outgoing Jonah Jang of looting government treasury, hurriedly selling government assets and unwarranted withdrawals in order to put the incoming administration in a precarious condition.
Jang has completed two terms as governor and won his senate race.
Governor-elect Lalong, who is a former speaker of the Plateau assembly, further accused Jang of late massive recruitments and lopsided employments.
He said that Jang was also removing furniture and other movable household materials from the newly-built N9bn Government House at Rayfield.
