Governor Fayose Declares Curfew in Ekiti State
Governor Ayodele Fayose just declared a dusk to dawn curfew in the state to avoid crisis that might arise from the declaration of the result of the presidential election.
Also, the governor urged Nigerians to accept the outcome of the Saturday’s presidential election in good faith.
He described the result as the will of God.
The results so far announced by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) indicates that the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is cruising to victory. Only two states are now left for the election to be called.
Fayose said the curfew effective with immediate effect is between 7.30pm to 6am.
He said those who would like to celebrate the victory should do so within the confines of their rooms.
