Don't blame Amokachi For Super Eagles Defeat- John Obuh
Former Flying Eagles coach, John Sam Obuh has blamed the Super Eagles defeat in the hands of the Cranes of Uganda on Wednesday night was as a result of their lack of playing together for long.
Uganda defeated Nigeria 1-0 at the Uyo international stadium in one of the two friendly games planned for the Eagles, and will be facing the Bafana Bafana in Nelspruit on Sunday.
Obuh noted after the game that the short time frame within which the team assembled and prosecuted that match was insufficient.
He further exonerated Daniel Amokachi from any blame based on the fact that the invited players were not invited by the stand in coach.
“It’s better we stop blaming anybody and just focus on what is right because these are just players that arrived and haven’t trained for more than one or two days”
“Amokachi has not had enough training sessions with them; the players have not been playing together so it was going to be a difficult game” football live
