Costa denies Chelsea exit

Diego Costa has rubbished reports that he is unhappy in England, telling Chelsea fans: “I want to stay”.
A report carried by a major Spanish newspaper website suggested that the Brazil-born Spain international was unhappy with the rainy weather, language barrier and food in England.
The Marca story went on to suggest he was keen on a return to Atletico Madrid, the club he joined Chelsea from last summer.
However, Costa has moved to clear up the suggestions that he could make a swift exit from Stamford Bridge.
“[It is] quite a simple answer,” he told Chelsea TV. “It’s always a bit more difficult in the first season for adaptation, but I have no reason to leave this place, I love it, the fans love me and I want to stay.”
Chelsea will be delighted that Costa has come out to address the reports considering his 20 Premier League goal contribution to their title winning season, reports The Independent.
Chelsea were in action earlier today on their post-season tour, beating Sydney FC 1-0. The game was most notable for Ruben Loftus-Cheek being hauled off 25 minutes after coming on as a substitute. Jose Mourinho said he and his relationship with the youngster had “taken a step back” after the performance.
